. Biography of Thierry CLIQUET .

Born in September 1961 to Valenciennes (France).
Paint to the begun oil at the age of 12 ans.
Self-taught.
Technical used: oils to the brush or to the knife.
Fascinated fishing at sea and of paint.
Member of the Independent Artists of the Flanders Tops for three years with participation to the group expositions.

I like to represent the elements such as they present themselves, landscapes or dead natures including the urban or industrial scenes that do not lack architectural and pictorial interest at the level of the complexions and colors.

Personal exhibition from the 6 to the 31/12/2004 to the house of the tourism of Leffrinckoucke.
On this occasion commentary of the local press: "... Devotion of the artist to describe the Flanders landscapes, so changeable but always if marked force and of puissance.Pas of visages, mais of the outlines. A mood before all. La blackbird vent, les nuages. Un beautiful travels motionless punctuated of some dead remarkable natures. .."
