Sophia L.Burns was born in Scotland in 1970.   Since 2004,  she's been living in the South of France near Montpellier in Lodève where she paints and gives art classes to amateurs.
You can see Sophia's work all year round at the Art Gallery Doun in Rognes (15 minutes away from Aix en Provence).
Studies
1999-2004 PhD. in Canada Montréal at the Université du Québec à Montréal - Etudes et Pratiques des Arts - her thesis was based upon her own previous work on the creative process of rewriting.
1990-1995 DNSEP National Superior Diploma of Arts at the Art School in Aix en Provence
