"In order not to distract your view, I entitle my works with a number, each number representing the chronology of their creation in the time.
Your view is your title, my view is mine" René de Fontaine was born June 17 1950 in Paris, France, son to a French father born in Warsaw and to a Polish mother also born in Warsaw. He had French nationality. He died on December 14 2003 to Paris. A path, One bypasses a stone, One avoids a grove, One ducks, one scratches oneself, To the right, To the left, Then one stops, Society, Every day life, One keeps carrying on, If one carries on? Such is the introduction to the book he publishes at his own expense in 1982, under the title "Communications (?)". A book about art that redraws ten years of existence as a university student (mastery Arts Plastic), a worker (post auxiliary), a professorial (art teacher). Next, for more than twenty years, he works with the small childhood in suburban kindergarten. Simultaneously, it invests himself in art through reflection, creation and theorization in a Paris studio (Atelier la Barque). |
