Before becoming a painter and a school teacher, I studied philosophy at the university Paris IV, Sorbonne, and I obtained a Master's degree. With a Russian painter, Alexei Machina, of the “Acadmie des Beaux Arts de Paris”, and twice laureate of the Paul-Louis Weiller portrait price, I improved my painting skills for two years. Simultaneously, I had drawing and painting courses at the “Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris” as well as iconography lessons with the iconographer Emilie Van Taak. I have recently exhibited in a Parisian gallery: “La Rotonde” and at the Rumanian embassy.
I am specialized in the art of portrait, and particularly inspired by the Renaissance period which I know well, having worked on reproductions of Leonardo da Vinci, Messina and Botticelli. |
